No. Chocolate is not safe for cats.
Why
Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, which cats cannot break down well. Even small amounts can cause vomiting, diarrhea, a racing heart, tremors and seizures. Dark and baking chocolate are the most dangerous.
What to do
Call your vet or a pet poison hotline right away, even if your cat seems fine. Note the type and amount eaten.
